**Here's an overview of our role**:
The Network Commercial Specialist is responsible for implementation of growth programs to maximise growth of new connections, consumption of existing customers and reticulation of gas to new developments with the primary focus being the Evoenergy Network.

**The role is responsible for key account management of growth partners, which involves;**
- Finding value add solutions.
- Proactively managing the business relationships with connecting parties.
- Development of business plans and strategies i.e. budgeting, forecasting, capex.

**Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Grow revenue by ensuring all growth opportunities are economically sound.
- Manage risk with land and property developers to ensure that the asset owner is protected commercially from revenue loss and uneconomic development.
- Facilitate preparation of offers of connection, change of load and asset relocation requests for commercial, industrial, medium density & high rise developments across the Evoenergy networks
- Key account management of land developers, property developers, builders and their consultants to expand our gas networks.
- Represent Jemena at industry events as required to influence energy choices that land developers, property developers and builders make for their developments (events such as such as UDIA, HIA, MBA and MPA)
- Ensure all designs for new estates are consistent with Jemena policy to minimise capital expenditure and optimise commercial outcome for both business and the customer.
- Champion the long-term interest of customers by promoting a customer-focused business culture as well as assisting with escalated (new) customer issues.

**A little about you**:

- Engineering and/or Business Management qualifications appropriate to this position.
- An understanding of factors influencing the growth of energy networks (desirable).
- Understanding of energy customers’ needs and preferences.
- Exposure to, or knowledge of, current construction methodologies across the Utility market demographic.
- Proven high level communication and influencing skills (essential).
- An ability to present in a professional manner to a variety of industry forums.
- Demonstrated risk management skills.
