**Role Type**: 12-month part time contract (22.8 hours per week) **Salary**: $84,063 - $89,202 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation **The opportunity**: We are seeking our glue We need a highly organised and dynamic Project Officer - Operations to join the Systems Impact team within the Centre for Community Child Health at MCRI. This role is integral in ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and successful project delivery within the team. As the “glue” that holds us together, you will support the team in its mission to influence policy, program development, professional practice, and parenting through impactful research and advocacy. You will be responsible for managing operational activities, coordinating communications, and assisting in project management tasks. You will work closely with the Associate Director and the wider team to ensure timely delivery of projects and maintain a cohesive, high-performing environment. **Your responsibilities include**: Manage office requirements, coordinate IT equipment, and ensure smooth back-end operations. Lead Systems Impact contributions to the CCCH Bulletin, newsletters, and internal/external communications. Draft, format, and organize documents for proposals, reports, and other key deliverables. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including agendas, speakers, and logistics. Develop and implement project management processes, ensuring CRM systems and project statuses are up-to-date. Support the Associate Director in calendar management, budget coordination, and administrative functions. **Key Challenges**: Contributing to multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Strong communication abilities with experience drafting and formatting reports, proposals, and newsletters. Demonstrated experience in operations, administration, office management and/or project management, including diary management Ability to manage stakeholders and adapt in a dynamic environment.
