We are currently looking for both independent contractors with their own ABN and incorporated status, as well as individuals interested in transitioning to a full-time or part-time employee role within our growing team.

**About the Role**:
As a Building & Pest Inspector with RBI, you’ll be an integral part of our contractor network across Queensland (Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast), New South Wales, or Victoria. This role is perfect for contractors who want to continue operating their own business or employees seeking the support and recognition of a trusted national brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
- Provide detailed reports with clear recommendations for repairs, treatments, and safety improvements.
- Operate as an independent contractor managing your own business, or work as an employee supporting RBI’s established client base.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in building and pest inspections.
- Completion of relevant timber pest courses (CPPUPM3008 and CPPUPM3010).
- Ability to identify issues and provide high-quality reports.
- Valid police check, driver’s license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Construction induction card (white/red card).
- Incorporated status with an active ABN (for contractors).
- Ability to operate as an independent contractor and manage your own business (for contractors) or work as an employee with a set schedule (for employees).

**State-Specific Requirements**:

- **VIC/NSW**: Preference for applicants with a VIC/NSW Builder's Licence and familiarity with state-specific building codes (not mandatory, but preferred).
- **QLD**: Must hold or be able to obtain a QLD Builder's Licence and have knowledge of Queensland’s building regulations and compliance standards.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 6 - 38 per week
