An exciting opportunity has arisen for Qualified Linespeople from New Zealand to join ServiceStream in multiple locations across Australia. This Permanent, Full-Time opportunity is perfect for any individual looking for a lifestyle change and to enjoy what Australia has to offer. ServiceStream is willing to assist in the relocation process and details can be provided at a later stage. You will be responsible for construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks through the safe & effective operation of associated plant and equipment.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time (Multiple Positions Available)

Location: Multiple Locations Across Australia

Reporting Line: Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Lineworker you will be joining an excellent team that is responsible for constructing and maintain the distribution electricity network to maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers across various Australian networks.

What’s on offer:

- RDO each fortnight
- 36 hr week
- $48 - 55/hr AUD
- Relocation support

About You

To be considered for the role, you must demonstrate previous experience working within this capacity, along with relevant training and licences. You must be a New Zealand Citizen with Working rights in Australia. Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines carrying electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial users.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.
- Cert III in distribution powerline (AU) or EWRB Line Mechanic Registration (NZ)
- Experience with overhead distribution lines up to and including 66kV
- High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging)
- Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.
- A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.

Desirable:

- Glove and Barrier Qualification (advantageous)
- Transferable network company competencies and previous experience in overhead switching (advantageous).
- Forklift licence, Chainsaw Ticket
