IPA has a long-standing history of providing staff to the Queensland Government and are currently partnering with our client to recruit an
**AO5 Communications Advisor** on the
**Sunshine Coast**.

**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Helping facilitate engagement and consultation activities with frontline stakeholders to aid the communications and engagement program.
- Create well-crafted written content for both traditional and digital platforms in support of the communications and engagement program.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide high quality administrative assistance, including organizing community consultation programs and managing community data.
- Provide guidance and support for communication strategy, risk assessment, stakeholder and community engagement, and media and issues management in connection with transportation infrastructure projects.
- While qualifications are not mandatory, a degree in communications, public relations or journalism would be highly desirable.
- Experience in a communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will also be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of the International Association of Public Participation framework will also be highly regarded.

This role is 36.25 hours per week on an initial
