We're excited to welcome a Senior Communications Officer to our Communications and Engagement team

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We are committed to the maintenance of a culture in which we treat our colleagues with respect as we do our patients, consumers and the community. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.

The Senior Communications Officer supports the delivery of internal and external communication activities that help inform, engage, and connect staff and stakeholders. No two days are the same, and we enjoy solving problems creatively, responding quickly when things change, and producing work that genuinely makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities include:

Write engaging content for digital and traditional media channels to appeal to a broad range of demographics

Draft content for internal communications to build on and support Sunshine Coast Health's culture

Find innovative ways of promoting health service functions to the people who use our services

Create digital content including desktop publishing, video content, and photography and optimise for expanded reach and engagement.
