Lead Data Analytics Consultant

**The role**

**Accountabilities**
- Developing and implementing data analytics solutions using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilising various solutions including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI and Composer (Apache Airflow).
- Utilising SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify data requirements and translating them into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Building and maintaining data-driven solutions across the entire spectrum of analytics and data science, including DataMart’s, reporting systems, statistical analyses, and machine learning models. Developing and delivering data visualisations to effectively communicate findings and support decision-making processes.

**Knowledge and experience**
- Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field/commercial experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a data science/analytics-centric role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Expertise in working in Cloud Environments -AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform (GCP Preferred).
- Experience deploying Machine Learning solutions into production commercial environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills..
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for data-driven decision-making.
