**About Us**

The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.

This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.

**About the Position**

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties of the Trades Assistant will include but are not limited to:

- Assist in the service and repair of plant, equipment, and vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
- Adhere to safety requirements and procedures as set out in policies.
- Assist with the identification and ordering of parts.
- Maintain a clean and serviceable workshop.
- Liaise with the Leading Hand Heavy Duty Mechanic on operational and administrative duties.
- Carry out other duties as required within the employee’s skill, competence, and training.

**About You**
- High School Certificate or equivalent education.
- Forklift Certificate
- Current national Manual “C” class driver’s licence

This Casual position is a Level 6 Outside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a an hourly rate of $38.18 + 25% casual loading

**To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a**:

- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
