**About the Position**

We are looking to appoint three Permanent Full Time Irrigation Maintenance Operators to join our Parks team. This is an opportunity to work in a position where you will make a positive impact on the community and the environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties of the Irrigation Maintenance Operator will include but are not limited to:

- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair irrigation systems to maximise water usage.
- Monitor effectiveness of irrigation systems (i.e. turf is uniformly irrigated) and report on faults and irrigation infrastructure issues.
- Ensure that irrigation system repairs are carried out in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and current best practice.
- Other Irrigation tasks as directed.

**About You**
- Safety Awareness Training Certificate.
- Certificate in Irrigation / Turf / Horticulture or Demonstrated Experience in commercial maintenance of Irrigation.
- Understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices and an ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- MRWA Competency in basic Worksite Traffic Management.
- First Aid Certificate.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 5 (Under Review) Outside Workforce Agreement position which attract a salary up to $74,200.52 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- A copy of Australian Driver’s Licence.
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
- The right to work in Australia.
