**About the Role**

The WofG Construction Category Team is a function in PW, which works closely with the Construction Leadership Group (CLG), Infrastructure NSW to implement, manage and improve procurement policy, processes, and systems on behalf of the NSW Procurement Board. The Construction Category Team undertakes both the Business as usual (BAU) as well as WofG construction procurement reform activities in collaboration with the CLG to support the Government's 10-Point Plan. The BAU function involves the management and ongoing improvement of construction prequalification schemes, procurement lists, standard form construction contracts, construction procurement guidelines, and delivery of construction contracts training.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Run reports via the eTendering System and share these with agencies and local councils.
- Maintain schemes management data in the eTendering System to ensure the integrity of information and database.
- Assist to manage the eTendering System changeover activities for construction schemes.
- Responding to queries from agencies & local councils related to schemes, standard form construction contracts, and construction procurement processes and systems.
- Review and update various construction procurement system documents available on the buy.nsw website.

**Essential requirements**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or experience deemed equivalent.
- Understanding of NSW Government legislation, procurement policies, and processes, including the NSW Government Action Plan - A 10 Point Commitment to the Construction Sector.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills as frequent contact with an array of stakeholders and supplier management activities will feature prominently.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in contract management and performance reviews.
