Yatala, Australia AE Stainless Direct Full time

AE Stainless is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised Logistics Officer. The full-time role is responsible for the efficient supervision and coordination of all activities relating to the despatching operations of the warehouse as well as providing support to the Business Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running and day to day operation of the business.

Based in Yatala, we are a family-owned company, manufacturing mainly stainless steel enclosures for the mining, electrical and related industries.

**What you will do**:

- Daily warehouse operations including loading and unloading goods, picking and packing orders, organising receipts, storage and despatching of goods with customer satisfaction being the primary goal
- Unloading and managing containers (weekly basis)
- Keeping warehouse organised and effiecient
- Ensuring accuracy and quality control is maintained
- Conduct stock takes as required
- First point of contact for walk-in customers
- Working closely with the Business Operations Manager to ensure that business needs, training & safety requirements are met and processes & procedures are always adhered to

**What you need to succeed**:

- A valid Australian Forklift Licence is a MUST
- Current Australian driving license is a MUST (manual preferred)
- 5+ years experience working in warehousing/logistics preferred
- Excellent communication skills and time management
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands-on, solutions oriented and ability to take ownership and accountability for actions and work as part of the team
- Good Computer skills
- Be reliable and dependable
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Fit & healthy to pick up heavy items (20kg)
- Capable and willing to do physical work
- Willingness to learn new systems and procedures
- Follow the applicable Safety Rules, Regulations and Procedures

**Desirable Skills**
- Certificate in Warehousing & Distribution
- First Aid Certificate
- Fire training

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
