**About the role**
Caterpillar of Australia currently has an opportunity for an energetic, passionate & committed **Lean Operations Analyst** to join the Queensland Distribution Centre (QDC) based in Yatala, QLD. This position supports continuous improvement and operational excellence by coordinating training, analysing data and dealer claims, administering lean programs and standards, and maintaining key information systems to enhance planning and performance across the facility.
**Job Responsibilities for this role include**:
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Dealer Claims Analysis
- Lean/CI Program Coordination and Training
- Administration of Facility Improvement Projects & Hosting Kaizen events
- Administration of Safe Job Procedures, Standard Work, and various facility audits
- Associate Training and Development Coordination
- Maintains SharePoint, Power BI & Information Repositories
- Supports Operations with Planning & Calendars
**Key skills requirements for this role include**:
- ** Interpersonal Relationships**: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- ** Data Analytics**: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data; ability to discover useful information, draw logical conclusions, and support decision-making.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience with Lean principles or other continuous improvement methodologies preferable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field preferable
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience within a fast-paced warehousing/logistics or manufacturing environment
**Additional Information**
- Working environment - 5 days in office
