Currently consisting of 20 shared accommodation homes across Greater Sydney and the Illawarra, our mission is to provide high-quality care and improve the quality of life for our valued clients.

**_About the opportunity_**

As our organisation continues to flourish, and with our valued clients in mind, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Active Support Workers who have a passion for supporting clients under an Active Support model. Our focus is to provide sensory pathways for our clients to enhance their inclusion, independence and wellbeing.

**_Duties and Responsibilities_**
- Provide support to our clients using a person-centred approach under the Active Support model
- See the potential in our clients and show the initiative and sensitivity to empower them in their day-to-day living experiences
- Ensure client notes are updated and CTARS system (or other software systems) are fully utilised
- Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders such as families, guardians, and other service providers
- Work as part of a dedicated and energetic team
- Other duties as directed by the Team Leader or Home Services Manager
- Ensure all Forsight policies and procedures are adhered to

We are looking for Active Support Workers who are as focused on supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life We currently have casual vacancies in our Group Homes located in the North Rocks NSW 2151.

You will also need the following;
- Minimum Cert III in Disability and or related discipline (currently undertaking studies or completed) OR a minimum 6 months experience in a similar field
- Ability to address triggers and redirect behaviours
- Flexible and empathetic attitude
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (with at least 3 months until expiry)
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain one)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
- Current valid driver's license
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster Vaccination
- Available for regular shifts on a 24/7 roster (including sleepover and active nights)
