Our client is a commercial law firm located in the Perth CBD. Founded in 2016, it has pursued a strong growth path over 7 years.
They are now seeking a full-time member of our team to support our accounting and finance administration function.
**The Position**
This full time role involves supporting all aspects of the accounting and finance administration, including:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Banking (general and trust account)
- Debtor and creditor management
- Trust account management and reporting
- Periodic account reconciliations
- Liaising with the firm's administration team (office management and bookkeeping)
- Payroll
- Insurance policy management
- Expense management
- Managing statutory payments (tax, employee leave balances, superannuation)
- Overflow support for front of house duties including greeting clients, meeting co-ordination and attending to the general maintenance of the office
**About You**
You will have prior experience in an accounting and finance administration role in a professional services industry, ideally in a private law practice. You will also demonstrate a desire to develop your skills and knowledge in accounting and finance administration, with the firm's support.
- Proficiency in use of the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Prior experience using legal practice management software (Open Practice or equivalent)
- Prior experience using document management software (iManage Work or equivalent)
- Trust account management
