**The Organisation**

Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service provides emergency aeromedical and health care services for people in rural and remote regions across Australia.

Mobile Patient Care (MPC) is a service division of RFDS Victoria, providing non-emergency patient transport services in both rural and metropolitan locations across VIC, NSW and TAS.

**The Role**

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provision of first aid to the general public
- Present and promote an image of Royal Flying Doctor Service to the general public.
- Demonstrate and promote safe work practices.
- This role involves mingling and walking around crowds.
- At times distribute promotional material for RFDS.
- Represent the values of the brand.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Nationally accredited certification (Certificate IV in Healthcare, Diploma in Emergency Health Care or equivalent, 3rd year Bachelor of Paramedicine students)
- Prior experience in high pressure or busy environments
- Customer relations/service experience.

**Additional requirements**:

- Hold a satisfactory National Police Check completed within the last 6 months.
- Hold a current Working With Childrens Check for employment.
- Provide a satisfactory driving history report.
- Full immunisation history in accordance with Non-Emergency Patient Transport and First Aid Services (First Aid Services) Regulations 2021 and RFDS policies.

RFDS policies require that mandatory immunisations must be obtained by any new staff members prior to commencement of work. Please be aware that if you don't have all the immunisations required, you may not be immediately eligible for a role within Mobile Patient Care. Please see below attachment for a copy of our current immunisation requirements.
