**A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated
- **Concrete Laboratory Supervisor **to join our Concrete team within our
- **Wetherill Park, NSW Branch.**
The purpose of this role is to supervise/carry-out Concrete, Mortar & Aggregate testing and to lead the concrete laboratory team for all lab operations.

**MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL**
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and professional manner, particularly with regard to chemical and physical hazards.
- Undertake/supervise concrete testing in accordance with Australian Standards, NATA, and established lab procedures.
- Ensure lab equipment is in good working order and arrange for calibration and maintenance as required.
- Assist the Technical Manager in testing and development work.
- Maintain/Update concrete testing records and ensure daily data entry of the test results.
- Plan, prepare and carry-out daily concrete lab activities and testing schedule, providing instructions to the lab team.
- Work in conjunction with lab staff to keep the Lab area clean, tidy and hazard free.
- Provide supervision and carrying out other Lab duties, following the instructions from Technical Manager.
- Provide training to team members of the concrete lab including concrete testing and OH&S procedures related to the lab operations.
- Maintain and order stock of concrete raw materials and other consumables.

**We Need Your Skills**

**A LITTLE ABOUT YOU**
To be successful within this role, you will have:

- A minimum 2 years’ experience and knowledge of Concrete testing, Concrete Properties
- and Sample preparation
- Thorough knowledge of Concrete Laboratory Health & Safety requirements
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge and Hands on experience in Aggregate preparation and testing
- Knowledge of Concrete Admixture Technology and Mortar testing
- Strong literacy numeracy skills and relevant computer skills
- The ability to perform heavy duties (including lifting, shovelling, etc).
- A current Forklift Licence
- Previous experience within a similar role/industry is highly regarded._
