**Your new role**

Working as a Business Development Underwriter you will be;
- Responsible for the delivery of market awareness of Commercial Lines product suite and capability.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with the intermediary market.
- In charge of delivery of individual leads and generating new business in accordance with set targets.
- Supporting the Head of Business Development and Marketing in planning and overseeing the delivery of marketing initiatives in line with company strategy and in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Underwriting risks within your underwriting authority.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will have;
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Broker, Underwriter or BDM preferably within an agency
- Competent knowledge of commercial classes (Liability and PI preferred but not necessary)
- A strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work be market-facing
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
