Looking for an Experienced Facilities manager to work in a new Distribution Centre in West Sydney

**Your new company**
Leading Australian Facility Management organisation is looking for its next Facilities Manager to oversee the day to day Facilities Operations of a new Distribution Centre in West Sydney

**Your new role**
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will form part of the partnership’s site based senior leadership team assisting a National Contract in Western Sydney. This role is Mon
- Fri standard hours. Duties include:

- Ensure all facilities programs including reactive and preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements are executed timely and within quality requirements.
- Manage the site facilities including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management, and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the annual facilities budget, identifying and prioritising the required funds to support the required service.
- Contractor selection, engagement, negotiation and reviews in conjunction with internal and external procurement teams
- Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in the development, implementation and review of safety standards and procedures including Audits.
- Ensure OH&S requirements are met and adhered to, at all times

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Previous Experience in a similar role
- Be a proven strategic facilities management approach while building and maintaining strong working relationships
- Asset management knowledge and experience
- Experience with budget responsibility and budget management including CAPEX/OPEX
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
