The Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems (IIIS) was established in 2003 to enhance Griffith's ICT research environment and stimulate world class research. **Job Description**:

- The off-line risk model for cyber-physical power systems.
- The online risk assessment for cyber-physical power systems.
- The resilient control for cyber-physical power systems.

**Key responsibilities of this position include**:

- Conduct research that contributes to the research objectives of the research project.
- Develop a good publication record in high impact, international, esteemed peer-reviewed journals and to seek competitive funding.
- Contribute to the IIIS’s research projects as appropriate to research skills.
- Contribute to teaching activities as required.
- Manage the preparation and formulation of publications, presentations and research reports arising from the research.
- Supervise Research Assistants and technical staff.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including research ethics, equity and health & safety, laboratory standards and exhibit good practice in relation to same.
- Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.

**What we can offer**
This is a fixed term, 22month, part-time (0.4FTE) position based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time annual equivalent base salary will be RF1 range $82,359 - $96,473 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total full-time FTE package will be in the range $96,360 - $112,873 per annum.
- This is a part time, fixed term position (0.4FTE for 1 year 10 months) based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus._

**Qualifications**:
The successful applicant for this position will hold a PhD or equivalent qualifications/work experience in a relevant field of control engineering or power system engineering.

In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:

- Demonstrated research experience in a relevant field of control engineering or power system engineering.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects, and the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and conduct innovative research.
- Well publication track record in prestigious peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate and present research findings to academic audiences.
