Sea to Summit is looking for an experienced FP&A to become part of our global finance team.
On a global scale, the role will be responsible for providing insights for decision making at all levels through analysing financial, operational and strategic information, Forecast/Budget, measuring performance and identifying opportunities & risks.
With a Business Partner mindset this role is required to work closely with all levels of regional or global internal stakeholders, promoting the company vision to ensure corporate and individual targets are achieved.
The role will be reporting to the Global Director Financial Control based in Perth Head Office.
**Responsibilities**
**Reporting and Financial Planning Analytics**
- Provide analysis and reporting to identify sales and profit margin trends, key financial drivers, profitability analysis of key customer accounts and various business units, and other special projects to improve operational and financial performance
- Be a leader in providing valuable business insights through financial analysis that will contribute to business decision making
- Preparation of modelling for financial forecasting, including cash flow forecasts, and company scorecard
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial planning, and variance analysis of performance of current business units
- Collect, analyze, and consolidate financial data making recommendations to increase financial performance
- Review of all month end reporting activities
- Must have proven technical accounting working experience.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FP&A or similar role for multinational business or international corporate finance.
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint)
- Expert proficiency with SAP, PowerBI and financial modelling
- Expert in BAS and Financial Statements, Financial and Auditory reporting, implementation of company-wide financial control
- Strong analytical mindset with strong technical ability with accounting systems and data to identify trends, draw conclusions and make thoughtful recommendations
- Excellent people skills and Business Partner Mindset within all levels in the company
- Clear communication and ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Proactive, hands on professional with the ability to work independently
**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics;
- CA / CPA
- Master’s degree is highly desirable
