**Position: Ventures Senior Manager**

As a Ventures Senior Manager, you will leverage your expertise in business strategy, product development, and entrepreneurship to identify, evaluate, and develop high-potential ventures. Reporting to the General Manager - Strategy, Innovation & Ventures, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market opportunities, design business models, and drive the growth of innovative ventures. Your contributions will have a direct impact on shaping the future of our organization and the healthcare industry. This is a hybrid position, allowing you to work both remotely and from our Sydney Head Office.

**What You'll Contribute**:
**Venture Identification**: Identify emerging market trends, technologies, and business opportunities. Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate the viability and potential of ventures. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.

**Venture Evaluation**: Assess the commercial potential and scalability of ventures. Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments. Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

**Venture Development**: Work closely with venture teams to develop business strategies, market entry plans, and operational frameworks. Provide guidance and support in areas such as product development, marketing, finance, and operations. Monitor the progress of ventures and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

**Innovation Strategy**: Collaborate with the Head of Innovation to drive the company's Innovation Strategy. Identify new offerings and innovative solutions that create value for customers and the organization.

**Growth Leadership**: Support the build and implementation of an innovation ecosystem. Contribute to idea-generating events and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

**Strategic Alignment**: Connect the strategic and innovation agendas for HCF with technology, health innovation, and market disruptors. Drive opportunities to disrupt the industry and accelerate the delivery of these agendas through the identification of potential ventures, investments, and acquisitions.

**Strategic Objectives**: Collaborate closely with the Head of Innovation and Head of Strategy to deliver on our short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives, ensuring that our ventures and investments align with our organizational goals.

**Who You Are**:
**Seasoned Professional**: You have at least 6 years of experience in venture capital, corporate development, investment banking, or strategic consulting. Your background has equipped you with the resilience and agility needed to thrive in an innovative and fast-paced organization.

**Relevant Qualifications**: You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

**Investment Expertise**: You have a proven track record of evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and executing transactions. Your strong analytical skills allow you to interpret financial data and market trends effectively.

**Deal Structuring**: Desirable experience contributing to deal structuring and term sheet construction.

**Strategic Mindset**: You are a strategic thinker with a forward-looking mindset and a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.

**Communication Skills**: You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
