Software Engineer – Trading Technology

Venture has partnered with a leading electronic trading firm, specializing in market making and arbitrage, is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join its high-performance trading desk. Operating in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment, the team relies on cutting-edge technology to power a global trading platform and the split-second decisions essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the trading platform's stability, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Implement and refine trading algorithms.
- Work across a wide range of technologies and trading domains.
- Address real-time production issues and deliver rapid solutions.
- Collaborate closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java or C++.
- Proficiency in a scripting language, ideally Python.
- Previous experience in high-frequency or low-latency trading environments.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
