**The Opportunity**:
As a **Sales Development Rep**, you will help drive execution of the sales strategy by generating and qualifying leads, playing a critical role in building a strong sales pipeline and contributing to sales achievement. This 12 month fixed term contract is a unique opportunity to be part of the KPMG High Growth Ventures team and make a difference within the Australian ecosystem.
**Responsibilities**:
As the High Growth Ventures Sales Development Rep, you will:
- Drive lead generation activities through proactive target account research and engage potential customers through outbound sales activities and responding to inbound inquiries
- Work closely with the business development sales team to qualify leads and develop a pipeline of sales-ready opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with the sales team to optimise outreach strategies, nurture campaigns and drive pipeline growth

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience should include:
- At least 2 years sales, account management or business development experience
- Understanding of startup sector trends, issues, needs and recent developments is highly advantageous as well as a genuine passion to work with startups
- A self-starter with an ability to take initiative and drive business objectives and respond positively to feedback
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organised with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and use of data in the sales cycle
- Experience with LinkedIn account management beneficial
