**About the role**
TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in **Foundation Skills (including Literacy and Numeracy)** to join our team of teachers on a **casual** basis. Roles will be available in the Lower Hunter and Central Coast Regions including but not limited to Wyong, Gosford, Maitland, Belmont, Glendale, and Newcastle. The role of the TAFE teacher is to deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcome. If you are interested in sharing your talents by teaching second chance learners relevant Foundation Skills to prepare them for work or further training, then this is for you

**About you**
You enjoy sharing your passion in developing Foundation Skills in others and thrive on supporting and mentoring a diverse group of students with various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. You can also adapt your facilitation style to meet your students’ needs and deliver in a clear concise manner. You have demonstrated ability to collaborate within a dynamic teaching team and are committed to building the skills of your students.

**To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated**:
2. Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

3. Hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 with the two additional units) or a Diploma in VET or Adult Education or equivalent.

4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
