As a Ward Clerk, you’ll be the face of our ward, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the unit while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and exceptional service.

About the role

Cabrini’s Day Oncology and Infusion Centre provides patients with access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion services.

Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting visitors, patients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner- Providing efficient reception services and maintaining a welcoming environment- Handling telephone calls and enquiries promptly and appropriately- Responding to patient requests or referring them to the appropriate team member- Ensuring confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive information

About You

You are a motivated and reliable individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. You will bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems- Recent experience in a ward or unit reception role- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a courteous phone manner and strong attention to detail- A flexible and positive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing needs- Initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to ask for support when required- Strong organisational and multitasking skills- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
