**Our Family Violence and Homelessness Support Service is excited to have a very rare opportunity to join our high performing and dedicated team. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate support worker for our newly developed Case Support Worker - Family Violence role.**
**This is a fixed-term, part time role (.6 FTE, 3 days per week) until 30 June 2025, and is a rewarding opportunity for someone who keen to enter the Specialist Family Violence sector.**

As a Case Support Worker -Family Violence you will be working in an established high performing and supportive team of likeminded individuals who thrive working in a supportive environment. You will be an integral part of the day-to-day provision of our Rapid Response and Crisis Response functions within our Family Violence Case Management Program.
Working in alignment with the MARAM framework and Windermere’s coaching framework, you will be engaging victim survivors to support their safety and recovery whilst developing their capabilities to live a safe and independent life free from violence. You will also support the delivery of high-quality and time critical responses and interventions at times of family violence crisis, which may include emergency accommodation in line with the Crisis Response Model.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Tertiary qualifications in community services or related/relevant discipline.
- Experience within the Community Sector - newer graduates will be considered.
- Capacity to undertake intake and assessment skills with the ability to rapidly engage consumers. Including the ability to identify, assess and address the immediate risk and safety needs of consumers.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a challenging and fast paced environment with tight deadlines and deliverables.
- Experience in providing practical assistance and support to specialist staff to ensure services delivered are effective and high quality.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of the complex needs of victim survivors (including children) and those with additional complex needs, risks and vulnerabilities.
- Excellent work/time management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records and reports.
- Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
- Current Victorian Drivers’ Licence.
- Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks.
- Right to Work in Australia e.g. Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa holder with full working rights.
