Ultimate Football Pty Ltd trading as Ultimate Soccer is a 5-a-side and 7-a-side soccer operator, with $4m state-of-the-art purpose-built all weather small sided football facility in Western Sydney.

We are currently looking to hire a Sports Development Officer who will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of soccer plans, programs, and initiatives with a particular emphasis on sport and recreation to enhance youth and community’s health and wellbeing.

This is a full-time position with annual remuneration of $55,000 - $75,000 (negotiable) plus Superannuation on offer.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Designing, coordinating and facilitating opportunities and new initiatives for participation of young kids within Ultimate Soccer that are high in energy, fun and inclusive
- Planning, organising and delivering soccer sport camps, soccer coaching clinics, soccer competitions and other campaigns to increase young kids’ participation
- Designing, developing and implementing coaching structures, plans and coaching sessions
- Working collaboratively with coaches and other program staff to ensure all activities are organized and delivered efficiently
- Managing tournaments and events including logistics, scheduling and communication with participants and stakeholders
- Fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants and attracting a diverse range of athletes
- Maintaining accurate records of program participation and outcomes to inform future planning and evaluation
- Evaluating ultimate soccer competitions and programmes to ensure they are suitable for different ages and skill levels
- Effective promotion and marketing of Ultimate Soccer programs and competitions to raise awareness and generate interest among potential participants
- Building strong relationship with soccer groups, schools and the community
- Researching and monitoring soccer community development trends and participation to ensure programs and sessions reflect current trends
- Recruiting and overseeing coaching staff
- Coaching and officiating where required

Skills and Experience required:

- Diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of years of experience within the sports and leisure industry
- Strong communication skills

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- FAIRFIELD, NSW 2165: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
