Administration Officer

Maintain an efficient standard of administrative support services for the Division by providing support in the areas of telephone enquiries, correspondence, filing, scanning, photocopying and reference retrieval duties, including slides and blocks.
Communicate effectively in a courteous manner with medical and other staff to ensure information transfer is accurate and meets prescribed time requirements.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Current knowledge of medical terminology and well-developed keyboard and data entry skills.
- Ability to determine priorities, coordinate and finalise work within required time frames.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to enable communication with internal and external clients.
- Ability to register and track Anatomical Pathology material (slides and blocks).This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
