Based in Port Melbourne (with free parking), they are looking for a collaborative, successful and encouraging Human Resources Manager to add value to their business and employees, aiming for key business growth. You will be working in a trustworthy and transparent office environment where you can put your expert knowledge into practise.

**WHAT ARE YOU IN FOR?**

As the Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with the Group HR Manager, based in Sydney, to develop and implement programs and processes that enhance employee attraction, development, and retention.

So, what’s the Group HR Manager like? He will entrust and encourage you to make decisions on your own but is always a phone call away when you need it. Your job will be to integrate yourself into the business and become a trusted advisor to senior staff as well as a confidante to every other employee in the business. Here is a taster of what you’re in for:

- Oversees implementation of all HR processes within area of responsibility, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition and retention, remuneration, workforce planning.
- Partners with colleagues to achieve targets through business and HR action plans.
- Working with business leaders to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsels business leadership on the most effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives.
- Partner with the Groups HR Manager and business leaders to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through existing HR practices, processes, or policies in area of functional specialty.

**THE NITTY GRITTY**
- Experience as a HR Manager
- Sound ER and IR background
- Ideally, related tertiary qualifications or having held roles with similar required experience
- A flexible attitude
- Excellent communication skills
