Join us as Technology Manager for the Electrification Business Area where you will be providing strategic direction, leadership, management, and coordination of the engineering function across business units. Driving the performance of the engineering function performance to ensure that all engineering activities meet the required safety, integrity, financial and contractual requirements and initiating and driving continuous improvement activities across the function. Reporting to Sales Manager and this position is based in Notting Hill, Australia.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Acting as member of the business unit management team. Providing strategic operational guidance to support ongoing development of the business. Serving as an escalation point for individual and systemic engineering issues within the organization
- Managing the customer relationships at senior level and developing long-term relationship with key customers. Presenting new technology, innovation at conferences, client events
- Overseeing contractual work within own business units. Conducting regular progress reviews, identifying, and managing contract risks and participating in the budgeting process, jointly with local division/business unit manager and controller
- Creating and managing implementation of long-term strategic plans which defines business strategy resource requirements Overseeing planning and controlling process in the engineering teams
- Creating and implementing strategies to ensure that business risks are identified and managed.
- Collaborating with the supply chain function to develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers of services and equipment needed for engineering. Guiding the business in building engineering/operational capability through training, mentoring, and shadowing programs
- Leading implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for the local project operation under the guidance of the Local Division Manager
- Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with management and project managers to ensure contract fulfilment

**Your background**:

- Tertiary Education in Electrical Engineering
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to learn about new technologies
