As an IT Project Officer at Shadforth, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting our IT Special Projects and Business Analyst in the successful execution of IT projects. You will be responsible for both Project Officer and Business Analysis tasks and have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions within the civil construction industry.

The role will be based at our Head Office, situated in Forest Glen, Sunshine Coast and we can offer flexible hours of work across 5 days (Monday to Friday), full time or part time school hours.

**About the Role**:
You’ll be undertaking the existing IT Special Projects, monitoring, and maintaining project statuses - designing the visual aspects of the end-user product, working with the developers, performing system testing, identify opportunities for process improvements and modifications.

The role will involve regularly liaising with employees across the business to assist with integration and roll-out of new features of the projects and gathering feedback to evolve the products generating useful multi-purpose functions. You’ll respond to day-to-day enquires, problem solving, carrying-out basic support and fixes as well as crafting supporting user manuals to guide end-users.

**About you**:
Ideally, you’ll have a recent experience in a similar role with:

- 1-2 years of experience in an IT project development or similar
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, and Word, project management tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, risks, and opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT project management methodologies and processes.
- Experience with UI/UX development and design tools

Those with exposure to the civil construction industry, MS SQL Server experience, Working knowledge of Front-End development languages and development methodologies and/or experience with BI Reporting tools will be highlight regarded.

You’ll hold a current Manual Drivers licence with reliable transport and the ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
