Our client is a very well known international freight forwarder based in Tullamarine. With a well
- established brand, successful team and continuously growing client base. An exciting opportunity has arisen within their team for an Entry Level Freight Forwarding Operator.
Working in a friendly and positive team environment, your day will be busy with varied responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Coordination of freight movements for both Air and Sea shipments
- Liaison with airlines, shipping lines, agencies and other relevant parties.
- Import documentation, lodging cargo automation, liaison with internal customs department and invoicing.
- Coordination of cargo collection and deliveries from cargo terminal operators, suppliers and consignees.
- Phone enquiries, data entry and administrative tasks as required.
- Some pick-packing in the Warehouse as applicants will be cross-trained
