**We are seeking a Planning Manager to join our team This is a 12-month fixed term Maternity Leave contract, Monday to Friday, based in our Port Hedland Head Office, or Belmont office.**

**About the Opportunity**:
We’re looking for a highly motivated **Planning Manager** to join our dynamic Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the efficient management of workforce labour requirements. As a key member of the team, you’ll oversee various critical tasks, including but not limited to:

- Lead the Planning and Mobilisation team to ensure timely completion of key deliverables
- Oversee the allocation of employees within the scheduling system
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in planning and mobilisation processes
- Support the coordination and allocation of workforce resources for project work and shutdowns
- Assist with maintaining systems, rosters, and databases, including tracking leave accruals
- Ensure compliance tracking, including medicals, Drug & Alcohols, and other required training
- Manage the distribution of mobilisation details to employees, including flights and accommodation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless scheduling, workforce planning, and mobilisation
- Track and report on workforce data daily, weekly, and monthly

**To be successful for this role you must possess the following**:

- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management position within the resourcing or shutdown industry
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, with expertise in Excel
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills, with a friendly yet professional phone manner
