Job description

Carer’s Network are in search of a **Personal Carer **who has great communication skills and a commitment to providing excellence in service.

Our staff have a reputation for being professional and enthusiastic as they provide personal and home care to our clients in their homes in the Bendigo and surrounding area including Echuca.

Duties will include:

- Travelling to client’s homes and assist with all aspects of Personal Care
- Providing community access as well as house cleaning and shopping
- Maintain open communication and report changes in client’s health status
- Ensure client’s safety & well being

What we want:

- A valid driver’s license
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Covid-19 Proof of Vaccination
- A confident, client & solutions focused approach to your work
- Ability to work flexible hours
- National Police clearance
- Current and valid first aid and CPR certification

A minimum of Certificate III in the following is required
- Individual support
- Home and Community care
- Aged Care
- Disability

**Carers Network - Big enough to help you, small enough to care**

**Job Types**: Casual - Penalties on top

**_2 hour minimum shifts _**

**Salary**: Starting rate $32.50 per hour plus penalty rates

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear masks whilst attending with clients.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bendigo VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Personal care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- National Police Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screen Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
