Carer’s Network have an exciting opportunity for a **Personal Care Assistant with** **experience in complex and high intensity care** to be a part of our diverse, engaging, and collaborative culture that is guided by our values of respect, accountability, and compassion.

**About the role**

We are currently looking for a dedicate and motivated Personal Care Assistant with experience in the following:

- Bowel care
- Catheter care
- Enteral/Peg feeding and management
- Assisting with medication
- Experience in severe dysphagia management
- Mealtime preparation

to join our friendly and supportive team. Every day will be different as you will be providing care and support to a range of clients to help assist with their wellbeing and daily needs.

**How will you make an impact?**
- You will be traveling to client’s homes and assisting with all aspects of complex care, to ensure their wellbeing and daily lifestyle needs are met.
- To have the ability to provide companionship, friendship, and emotional support to clients.
- Maintaining open communication and being attentive to clients’ needs
- **Experience in complex care is essential**.
- **A minimum of certificate III in the following is required**:_
- Individual support
- Home and community care
- Aged care
- Disability

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- NDIS worker screening check
- Covid-19 Proof of Vaccination
- Current and valid First aid and CPR certification

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $32.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear masks whilst attending with clients.
