**About the role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience supporting elderly and vulnerable individuals. Empathy, patience, and compassion are essential qualities that will be highly valued in this role.

**Shifts**:
You must be available to work the following shift (hours may increase):

- Friday 9.00am - 11.00am (2 hours)

**Responsibilities**:

- Proven experience supporting clients with a range of medical conditions, including diabetes, bipolar disorder, and depression.
- Responsible for attending to personal care needs such as showering, dressing, and other daily living activities.
- A genuine passion for supporting older individuals, backed by relevant experience.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work the specified hours, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
- Committed to delivering person-centred care that prioritises dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
- Assistance with community support and social engagements.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks, such as bed-making and room cleaning.
- Ability to adapt care plans to meet individual needs and promptly report any changes in clients’ health status.

**About you**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or willingness to undertake one.
- Valid Australian Driver License
- Reliable and comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or Nursing qualifications.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
