Aequalis Disability Services is a registered NDIS provider dedicated to providing support to individuals with disabilities from various backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and life experiences. We are currently seeking passionate, caring and motivated individuals to work as Disability Support Workers within the metropolitan Sydney area.

As a support worker with Aequalis, you'll help individuals achieve their goals, work toward independent living, and engage positively in their community. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Assistance to Social and Community Participation**: Supporting participants to engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
- **In-Home Support**: Assisting with domestic duties, establishing routines, cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
- **Transport Services**: Providing transportation for daily activities, appointments, school/work, and community events.
- **Development of Daily Living and Life Skills**: Helping participants gain independence in areas such as public transport, budgeting, education, employment, and obtaining a driver’s license.

**Essential Requirements**
- Current Employee Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current NSW driver’s license (P1 and P2 accepted)
- Access to a clean, safe, roadworthy vehicle
- Proof of at least 2 COVID vaccinations
- **Work Authorisation**: Must have legal rights to work in Australia (e.g. citizen, permanent resident, valid work visa)
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Training

**Advantageous, but not essential**:

- Experience in disability and community services
- Relevant Qualification (such as Cert III or IV in Disability, Community Services)
