* Entry level forklift opportunity
- Work with one of Australia's most leading airlines for freight handling
- Weekly pay cycle with penalties available for shift work and overtime The duties would involve working as a porter, including processing incoming mail/parcels from interstate or overseas, driving a tugger cart around the site to move the products, as well as use of the forklift. This position would be a great opportunity to gain experience in the aviation/logistics industry, as well as exposure to industry specific software programming.

We are currently sourcing for Freight Handlers for one of our leading clients based in the Perth Airport area.

The duties would involve working as a porter, including processing incoming mail/parcels from interstate or overseas, driving a tugger cart around the site to move the products, as well as use of the forklift. This position would be a great opportunity to gain experience in the aviation/logistics industry, as well as exposure to industry specific software programming.

**About your new role**:

- Loading and unloading of freight from courier trucks to planes
- Processing inbound and outbound freight
- Sorting, weighing and scanning of parcels
- Checking consignments
- Fast paced environment
- Working on a rotating roster for days & afternoons
- Have a current Forklift Licence or be willing to obtain
- Be willing to pass a National Criminal History Check and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Have strong reliability and a great attitude towards work
- It is a requirement of our client that in order to be successful for this role, you must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (or willing to be vaccinated)
- Have contactable work references within the last 12 months
