**About Us**
The Ministry of Health offers a dynamic and inclusive workplace, committed to fostering employee growth and development. Our values of collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment guide everything we do. We support flexible working arrangements and are dedicated to diversity and inclusion.

Crown Clerk Grade 7/8, starting salary from $113,574 - $125,520 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

For more information, please read the full Role Description.

**About the Role**
As a Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective management of NSW Health’s physical assets through the Asset and Facilities Management Online platform, underpinned by IBM Tririga. AFMO is the state-wide system for whole-of-life management of physical assets, providing a consistent view of the NSW Health asset portfolio and enabling best practice asset management to support health service delivery. Each NSW Health organisation is required to maintain a single asset register using AFMO, in line with the NSW Health Asset Management Policy Directive.

You will coordinate asset data management, support AFMO system integration and data quality, develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards, and provide expert advice to stakeholders. Your work will directly support NSW Health in optimising asset performance and lifecycle planning.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Support and enhance the use of AFMO (IBM Tririga)**: Assist in the configuration, data management, and ongoing improvement of AFMO to ensure accurate and comprehensive asset information.
- **Asset Data Management**: Coordinate the collection, validation, and maintenance of asset data within AFMO, ensuring alignment with NSW Health standards and policy requirements.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to monitor asset performance, condition, and lifecycle status.
- **System Integration and Data Quality**: Help integrate data from multiple systems into AFMO, identify and resolve data inconsistencies, and drive continuous improvement in data accuracy.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Proactively engage with Local Health Districts and other stakeholders to understand their needs, ask insightful questions, and identify opportunities for improvement in asset management practices.
- **Process Improvement**: Contribute to the review and enhancement of asset management processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- **Problem-Solving and Innovation**: Approach challenges with curiosity and creativity, seeking out-of-the-box solutions and recommending new ways to optimise asset performance and lifecycle outcomes.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, sharing findings and insights to support strategic objectives and continuous improvement.

**About You**
- **Experience with asset management systems**: Demonstrated experience using AFMO (IBM Tririga) or similar enterprise asset management systems, ideally within NSW Health or a comparable environment.
- **Project coordination or support roles**: Experience in project support roles, preferably within asset management or a related field.
- **Data visualisation and analysis**: Proficiency in PowerBI or similar data visualisation tools, with the ability to assist in dashboard development and maintenance.
- **Analytical skills**: Strong analytical skills and experience working with data from multiple sources.
- **Communication and stakeholder engagement**: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- **Proactive and organised approach**: A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a willingness to learn and improve processes.

**How to Apply**
Please submit your up-to-date resume (up to 5 pages) and a cover letter (1-2 pages) addressing the following questions:

- Describe your experience using AFMO (IBM Tririga) or a similar enterprise asset management system. How have you contributed to the management or improvement of asset data within such a platform?
- Give an example of how you have used data analysis or reporting tools (such as PowerBI) to provide insights that influenced long-term asset management decisions. How did you ensure your work was relevant and actionable for different stakeholders?
