**We are looking for**
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic projects relating to key functions of the Institute of Trauma and Injury Management (ITIM) and provide leadership in the adoption of evidence-based practice within Trauma Services Networks and in LHDS/SHNs across NSW.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within specified timeframes, meeting budget targets, and manage conflicting priorities and resource allocation whilst gaining co-operation and collaboration from major stakeholders.
- Prepare various documents including project plans, Ministerials, briefing and discussion papers, reports, submissions and related correspondence and responses when required.

**What you will be doing**

The ITIM Project Officer will manage the development and implementation of strategic projects that will

improve the quality of trauma services across NSW.

This position will undertake the full role of trauma project management activities including project

planning, milestone reporting, stakeholder negotiations, managing specific project budgets, monitoring

and evaluation.

The position will oversee the trauma education including the planning and delivery of education

across NSW and also oversee or support clinical guidelines development.

The ITIM Project Officer will work collaboratively with the ITIM team, ITIM Committees and the Trauma Pain

and Rehabilitation (TPR) Stream to provide and deliver comprehensive services to support delivery of

work plans.

**Remuneration**: $122,850.00 - $139,559.00 annum excluding Superannuation
**Hours Per Week**: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

**Selection Criteria / Questions**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and recent extensive experience in a senior trauma or critical care role.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of the trauma system. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working with trauma clinicians, trauma policies and trauma system frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience to lead, with attention to detail, all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience with planning, coordination and delivery of adult education in the context of trauma.
