Our client is a successful insurance and personal services legal firm with offices in both Sydney and Newcastle. Due to growth of the business, an exciting new position has arisen for a Junior Legal Assistant to join the Newcastle team based in the heart of the CBD. Our client is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace culture and providing excellent opportunities to further personal and professional development.**About the Role**
In this entry-level position you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Senior Personal Assistants who will assist with your ongoing training and development. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Providing timely and accurate administrative support;
- Backup reception and mail functions;
- File opening and closing;
- Electronic and hard copy filing;
- Diary management;
- Drafting, formatting, reviewing and preparing correspondence/documentation;

**About You**
- No previous legal experience is necessary, but ideally you will have at least 1 years’ experience in administration and/or customer service.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Adobe Pro, Excel etc) also desirable.
- Excellent touch-typing skills.
- An ability to maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently, to organise workload to meet tight deadlines, and work well in a team environment.
- Highly motivated with confidence in communication.
