Gympie, Australia Rural Fire Brigade Association Queensland Full time

Unlike many other fundraising opportunities, we are raising funds for our own cause - Supporting Volunteer fire fighters in getting ready for fire season. You will be calling customers with one aim - to encourage people to take tickets in our current art union raffle, or to make tax deductible donations. We need to raise funds all year round in order to be fire and disaster ready.

**Job Summary**:

- Fundraise on behalf of our 24,000+ Queensland volunteer fire fighters.
- Warm outbound calling to potential supporters who’ve shown previously support.
- Cold calling potential supporters building a list of future opportunity.

**Ideal Applicant**:

- Able to communicate effectively and confidently via phone
- Goal oriented, resilient and self motivated
- Interested in charitable causes
- Computer literate you must have basic typing skills
- Customer service, hospitality, fundraising or phone sales experience well regarded

**Work Space**:
Our offices are based in Araluen - with onsite free car parking

**What we offer**:

- Minimum 15hrs work per week. ideally, you will be available 5 afternoons per week.
- Regular commission opportunities *after probation period
- Monday to Friday work only - NO WEEKENDS.
- Ongoing employment - this is NOT a temporary position.
- Shifts we are looking to predominantly fill are from 2pm to 7pm, Mon to Fri (min 3 shifts per week).
- 10 week fixed advance roster with opportunity to change every 10 weeks.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
