We're looking for a Warehouse Assistant who will handle day-to-day operations of the warehouse, and supports other departments with any required tasks.

**The Role involves doing the following day to day tasks**:

- Sort, organize, pick, pack, organize and store inventory items in proper location
- Prepare proper invoicing
- Process returns
- Receives and counts new stock
- Stocktake counts
- Tests products for faults to ensure quality
- Reports damaged or missing inventory
- Opens and closes warehouse
- Reworks stock and components into products to fulfill orders
- Ensures workspace is free of debris and removes safety hazards from aisles
- Processing of international shipments
- Operates heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory

**We will require the following experience and skills**:

- Physically able to lift items up to 20Kg or more, and can do repetitive lifting
- Familiarity with inventory software, able to upload data into company system, and able to troubleshoot issues
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Forklift license and recent experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, and walk during the course of the shift
- Computer literate and can do minor troubleshooting
- Forklift license as a minimum.
- Scissor lift license is a plus
- Valid driver’s license

**Work Location and Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am to 5:00 pm AEST
- Australia, Heidelberg West

- Star Shipit
- InExpress
- Startrack
- TNT
- DHL

**Salary**: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
