**WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT**:
Our team in **Melbourne** currently has an opening for a **Warehouse Assistant**

**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsible for all Warehouse related functions including booking of transport, picking orders, forklift operation and inventory control.

Provide best practice warehouse support to customer service, logistics and production for both DG and Non-DG products. Provide truck driving support for deliveries to customers and between warehouses for both DG and Non-DG products
- Complying with Brenntag’s safety practices and policies
- Loading / Unloading products from containers and trucks
- Palletising / re-palletising of products
- Checking, receiving and put-away of goods into locations including racking
- Picking and preparing customer orders ready for dispatch in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
- Ensuring batch and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) is followed
- Responsible for cycle counting and other stock checks Ensuring accuracy of WMS system
-Organising dispatches with 3PL
- Ensuring the site is kept in a clean and tidy condition
- Reporting and isolating damaged stock
- Organising disposal of stock and corresponding paperwork when required
- Labelling of products

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment
- 2 years experience driving a forklift including unloading and loading containers and trucks
- Understanding of WMS systems and how they work (SAP experience preferred)
- Certified and experience with working with Dangerous Goods preferred
