We’re currently looking for a Kitchenhand (Part Time) to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens. You will support the Kitchen and Food & Beverage operations with cleaning and maintaining the Kitchen equipment all while maintaining our hotel hygiene standards.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
- Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
- Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
- Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

What We need from you:

- ideally must have weekend availability in the morning + evening availability on weekdays
- Right to legally work in Australia
- Passion for delivering great service to our guests
- Previous experience as a Kitchenhand / Steward ideally in a busy kitchen hotel environment would be an advantage
- Ability to working to deadlines and support the kitchen team in busy service periods
- Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
