
Support Worker

We are currently looking for a new Support Worker to join our team supporting a lady in her mid-30’s living in the Chermside area.
The person we are looking for is empathetic, considerate, engaging, and able to connect and build rapport easily. You will be able to perform under pressure and keep a clear head whilst dealing with the regular challenges of emotional instability. You will have worked with Positive Behaviour Support Plans and understand the importance of data recording and daily reporting.
With support from your Team Leader, this position will offer 20 hours per week and will entail two Active/Awake shifts per week (8pm to 4am) and a half day for community access. Due to the nature of the support work required in-home, female-only staff have been requested.

**What do I need if I am successful?**
Before you can start working with us, you need to provide, or be willing to obtain:
- 2 referees
- Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificate
- A current valid Driver's License
- Your own registered vehicle and insurance.
- Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we will pay for these if you haven’t got them yet)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
