About the role
The Strategic Sourcing Group has an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop skills in policy and governance and be part of a team that supports growth.
**In this role you will**:
- Provide support/advice and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as government buyers and suppliers
- Provide strong customer service response and support including phone and online enquiries
- Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, constructively working to resolve issues or escalate where required
- Work on supporting a diverse range of policy and procurement projects and provide administration and operational support to managers as required
- Prepare and provide information and write reports in accordance with standards and guidelines, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Undertake analysis/research on procurement data and issues including documenting outcomes and recommendations
About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to clearly articulate outcomes, listen to customers / clients / stakeholders and constructively working to resolve issues within agreed timeframes or escalate where required
- Ability to proactively contribute to the development and achievement of team goals and plans and support other team members in achieving their objectives and provide support for a diverse range of policy and procurement projects
- Attention to detail and ability to undertake accurate data analysis/research and draw sound inferences
- Ability to develop clear and succinct briefs/reports etc and communicate ideas both in written and verbal form
- Ability to self-manage a diverse workload and competing priorities. Ability to manage own workload to meet delivery timelines and escalate issues to management as required
