Retz Plumbing are currently seeking experienced **Civil Pipe Layer’s** to join our growing team, for an immediate start on sites across **Brisbane Southside and Gold Coast areas**.

About the role:

- Previous experience as a Civil Pipe Layer
- Comply with Quality, Safety & Environmental requirements
- Strive to exceed program targets
- Read design drawings/plans and specifications
- Set out works to line, level and grade in accordance with survey
- Set up rotating lasers and pipe lasers
- Ensure excavation is carried out to line, level, grade and design trench width
- Ensure trenches are benched, battered or shored as required by ground conditions
- Lay drainage pipes to line, level & grade
- Install pits and headwalls to design tolerance
- Backfill and compact trenches
- General Subdivision experience
- Experience in large trunk sewer and infrastructure and subdivision projects
- Experience laying storm water pipes
- Ability to work off RL levels
- Safety focus
- Operator tickets an advantage
- HR Licence an advantage

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Current QLD Drivers Licence and Construction Induction Safety card (white card)
- Current Fit Test Certificate
- Personal Hand Tools & Battery Kit
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver high quality service.
- Work within a team environment.
- Must be reliable & punctual.
- Approach life and work with a Can-Do attitude

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
