We are recruiting and searching for a Technical Internal Sales Representative - A fundamental role in the continual growth of our client's Australian business.
With headquarters in Munich Germany and subsidiary companies in Europe, North America, Asia and Asia Pacific offering global sales, service and engineering network, HAWE Hydraulics Australia Pty Ltd. was established in 2008 as a subsidiary covering the Asia Pacific region. HAWE Hydraulik supplies compact, energy-saving and durable hydraulic components and systems.
A career opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join the business located in Wollongong. This role is a full-time customer focused position suitable for someone with the ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics, and generate hydraulic solutions to meet customer specifications, and provide a quote / sales order. This could suit someone in a similar position, or perhaps a tradesperson with hydraulics knowledge looking to a career change to an off-the-tools role.
As Internal Sales Representative, handing incoming enquiries and developing quotes and sales, you will develop an understanding of the products, clients and business systems and processes. Success in this position can lead to a career progression opportunity to External Sales, using your product and developed sales knowledge, and this progression would provide a bonus structure and car.
**Reporting to the General Manager (Regional Sales), responsibilities will include**:
- Manage incoming sales enquiries.
- Providing sales quotations and technical/commercial proposals to customers.
- Reviewing schematics and project specifications.
- Supporting order processing and warehouse receiving.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Working with our customers to find suitable solutions and products.
- Building strong customer relationships, retention and loyalty.

- A keen willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Coming from a hydraulics trade background will position you well.
**System knowledge and experience**:
- Excel, Word, Office 365
- Navision preferred but not essential
- Exposure to SalesForce preferred but not essential
Training will be provided for this role tailored to your needs. Attractive salary on offer based on experience.
