- The Office for Research (OfR) oversees all aspects of research across all specialties, precinct entities and collaborative partners. The OfR provides leadership, support, advocacy and advice for researchers and research projects to meet sector demands. Research is increasingly complex and underpinned by risk assessment and mitigation to facilitate all aspects of research operations with a global compliance network. The OfR team enjoys a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

**Your new role**
- Manage all aspects of research governance as it relates to Site-Specific Authorisations at RMH and assimilation into National Clinical Trials Governance Framework
- Be an advocate to streamlined yet compliant start up to enable the conduct of clinical research
- Actively use your expertise in research governance and risk for continuous improvement purposes within the OfR by co-design
- Ensure the OfR team are up to date and trained in all matters related to research governance.
- Represent, support and market OfR service provision to the sector.

**About you**
- You have a track record of success and delivering in the area of Research Governance, ideally within the health or government sectors
- You have a sound working knowledge of clinical research legislation, guidelines and regulatory obligations at a senior level
- You are able to evaluate and operationalise risk in all areas of research governance and ethics
- Experience in ethical review of research will be highly regarded as will experience in the pharmaceutical sector
- You have a strong sense of team culture and facilitating workflows while enjoying a productive and busy office environment.
